LADY DEATH
I can
see the end clearly now.
It is
no longer a speck on the horizon,
Or an
event in the future.
I call
Death by her first name,
Sleep
with her,
Wake up
with her beside me.
She is
always so cold when I'm with her.
No words
of love can warm her.
When I
hold her, my heart freezes.
I see
the tragedy of life.
My Lady
seems so attractive tonight.
My time
has come.
I can't
live with her.
I can't
live without her.
